| Past Is Past | Welcome to an all new Harry Potter site! This site is set the seventh year of Harry Potter! But wait, there's a twist! Harry never set out to find the Deathly Hallows. Instead, before Dumbledore died, he had the objects come to him. But, instead of the objects being found in the Headmasters' office, they've been scattered all throughout the school! Now the 'Golden Trio' are back at Hogwarts, and they are searching for the objects to stop Voldemort. Along with that, there's a new Headmaster! And that Headmaster is summoning many Aurors to watch over Hogwarts. Do you think the Death Eaters will care? No!
In addition to students in Hogwarts, both Aurors and Death Eaters are needed! But which side will you choose?

Updates and Helpful Hints
Alright, first off, there's a character creation board, no need to post your characters in the accepted character board. Second off, please PM an admin with any jinks and glitches you might experience. Thank you! -Tonks

Rules of Past Is Past
1. No power playing, godmoding, or anything of the sort. You roleplay your character, and yours alone, unless another member allows you to control theirs. Say, if your leaving on a trip or something, you can give a friend permission to control your characters until you return.
2. Do not ask to become an admin. We will choose the best admin when we see if you are advertising and role playing. It also helps to stay active.
3. Before you role play, you MUST POST YOUR CHARACTER’S PROFILE under the Character Registration board and wait for the approval of an Admin. Once you’re notified by post, then you are free to role play wherever you wish.
4. Concerning character profiles, we would appreciate your keeping them accurate. This helps in keeping the records accurate, and helps to clear up confusion about certain aspects of characters, such as age changes.
5. Plots and activities are going to hopefully be a frequent joint occurrence at this 'boards. It’s best if you have your character(s) participate, since your character may meet new people.
6. You’re expected to respect your fellow members, admins, and role players. If you have an argument, you are expected to move it to the OOC character board or PM and sort it out. You’re expected to behave maturely, and not resort to threats or bolded posts. We admins are here to help, but it is our wish that you resolve your differences on your own, and not come complaining to us. Don’t be afraid to talk to us about anything. We’re here to help. However, if you yourself are misbehaving and giving us a hard time, trying to weasel your way out of trouble, and trying to get your way are not going to help. You get three warnings, and then you’re suspended for a week.
8. Relationships, that is to say, romance, are allowed, but be appropriate. If it’s getting near or above PG-13 level, please make a note of it in the title, by a warning symbol, or another means. There’s no such thing as ‘love at first sight’, either. This means your characters have to get to know one another first, before anything can happen.
9. If you have any suggestions, like plots, new boards, or anything like that, feel free to post on the Questions and Suggestions board for any views or opinions by fellow members, or contact us directly. If you go through with your idea though, without permission, we will give you a warning. Three warnings and you’re suspended for a week. If you continue to act without permission, you will be permanently banned, NO IFS, ANDS, OR BUTS!
10. When joining, please note that if you create nothing but female characters, there will be fewer males. It would not be fun to have 10 females and only 2 males running around Hogwarts. Try to even the genders out.
11. When role playing, do not post out of character unless combined with an in character post. Try PM, the OOC board, or the C-Box for any chats.
12. You can double your characters at different boards, using ‘time warps’, setting the specific role play before or after one being role played somewhere else. Doubling is especially allowed for special events, like hatchings and feasts, if a role play hasn’t concluded by the time the event started.
13. Try not to make one-liners. I’m afraid to say writers block does occur, and we understand that. Try not to make a habit out of one-liners, try to be detailed. Everyone likes a person who uses details. Remember to use the character forms for bringing in new characters.
14. Almost all posts (especially the starting ones) have to be at least five sentences (a normal paragraph) long, no exceptions. If this rule is not followed, and an admin sees you repeatedly making one-liners, you will be given a warning. After two more times, you will be banned for the day. Two more after that, for a week. After that, we'd hope you'd learned a lesson. But if you continue, you will be permanently banned.
15. MOST IMPORTANT RULE: You can only have two characters/accounts per person! Don't go making millions of accounts and end up with sixty characters. Two accounts will do, and if you make more, the admins will know, and will delete one the of the accounts, no matter which one.
